Magic Skates

It seems that nine-year-old Kostya is in for the most boring winter break of his life: he has been sent to visit his grandfather. His grandfather is, of course, a good man, and it's fun to spend the summer with... him. But what to do in winter? After all, he doesn't have a game console, and there are hardly any channels on the TV... And Kostya hasn't made any friends in his grandfather's town.
Therefore, when his grandfather hands him his old skates to keep him occupied and sends him to the box by the house—to skate and meet some kids—Kostya reluctantly agrees. But at the rink, it turns out that grandfather's skates are something special; Kostya not only glides confidently across the ice but can skate as well as a professional hockey player! What kind of magic is this? Where did grandfather get these skates, and who did they belong to before?.. And maybe, thanks to the magical skates, Kostya will not only make friends with the local kids but also participate in a real hockey match with them?
