I Learn to Listen and Speak (Set of 4 Books)

The unique set of methodological materials "I Learn to Listen and Speak" is designed to develop auditory-speech perception as a basis for the spontaneous development of speech in children with hearing impairments of preschool and school age who use cochlear... implants and hearing aids. The set is based on the "auditory" rehabilitation method for children with cochlear implants developed at the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Ear, Nose, Throat, and Speech. The "I LEARN TO LISTEN AND SPEAK" set includes:

The set of materials has been prepared by Professor I. V. Koroleva, the author of the widely known book "Rehabilitation of Deaf Children and Adults after Cochlear and Brainstem Implantation". The original methodology for developing hearing and oral speech presented in the set is the result of many years of experience in the rehabilitation of children with cochlear implants.
The set is intended for deaf educators, speech therapists, and defectologists who work on correctional and developmental activities with children with cochlear implants and hearing aids in cochlear implantation centers, audiological and rehabilitation centers, and in preschool and school educational institutions. Parents can work with the workbooks with their child independently or under the guidance of a deaf educator. The materials can also be used in the rehabilitation of adults with cochlear implants, patients undergoing sequential bilateral cochlear implantation, and after brainstem implantation, in working with children with sensory and motor alalia, and patients with aphasias.
