Forest Secrets

Curious little squirrels, Puff and Tail, have just come to life, and there is much they need to learn. The first riddle was posed by autumn itself: why do the leaves fall in the forest? Just as the little ones... solved this puzzle, new ones came, one more interesting than the other. How did the burdock learn to walk? Why do capercaillies swallow stones? The squirrels figured out numerous autumn secrets of the forest inhabitants, and then winter arrived - with new riddles. Why do foxes dive into the snow? Why does the moose shed its antlers? Puff and Tail met spring having matured a bit, but still just as curious. With the first rays of warm sunshine, they began to find out who among the birds returns home first and for whom the flowers grow. And in the summer, life in the forest really boils - it's a wide open space for fluffy trackers. They figured out who is not a bird but can fly, and followed the trail of mysterious invisibles. Puff and Tail could never have made so many discoveries about forest life on their own, but their loyal friends helped them.
