Java. Basics of Programming

The book "Java. Basics of Programming" was originally created as a textbook accompanying a training course for young programmers at the renowned Bulgarian university SoftUni. The publication is primarily intended for those who are just starting their journey in the... field of information technology and serves as a kind of unofficial textbook on the basics of programming, from which beginners can gain fundamental knowledge and master the skills of writing programs in the object-oriented general-purpose language Java in the integrated development environment IDE IntelliJ IDEA. It discusses in detail issues such as the use of variables and data, operators and expressions, working with the console (reading input and outputting results), applying conditional statements (if, if-else), loops (for, while), and working with methods (defining and calling methods, passing parameters and returning values).
