The philosophical tale by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry "The Little Prince" has been translated into 300 languages, and the author's illustrations have been familiar to us since childhood, while key phrases have become a code of love for us. "Perhaps the... only truth in the world lies in the peaceful rustle of book pages..." — this quote fully applies to Saint-Exupéry's books. The collection also includes "Wind, Sand and Stars". The events of one of the chapters — "The Companions" — became the basis for a new French film based on the true story of a key episode in Saint-Exupéry's life. In 1930, French airmail pilot Henri Guillaumet, who was making a night flight over the Andes, mysteriously disappeared during a snowstorm. His friend and colleague Saint-Exupéry participated in the rescue expedition. The events of those few days forever changed both friends: one survived, achieving the impossible, while the other wrote several books that entered the "golden reserve" of humanity.
