Development of Fine Motor Skills. Play Activities

This guide will help the older preschool child train their fine motor skills and well prepare their hand to start writing. The preschooler will practice outlining, completing and coloring pictures, writing letters and numbers, counting from 1 to 5, finding... letters in words, and drawing lines to form logical sequences. Training graphomotor skills in preschool helps develop the child's cognitive abilities. These are necessary for future schoolchildren to learn how to interact with the surrounding world, find correct solutions in non-standard situations, acquire new knowledge, draw correct conclusions, and effectively prepare for entering the first grade.
