The board game "Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective. Carlton House and Queens Park" was released back in 1982 and turned out to be so good that it was reissued in 2017. Moreover, "Carlton House and Queens Park" is already the third...
part of the series.
All parts are independent and consist of separate cases. Each case is one game, which can take you from one to several hours, depending on your own investigation style.
How to play? Get comfortable — either alone or with friends, gather cards, a directory, as well as a pile of sheets for taking notes and read the introduction to the case book. In general, that’s it; you are free to go anywhere. Think (and consult with your detective colleagues) about where it’s best to start the investigation? Should you inspect the crime scene, or did your clever mind immediately suggest an original (but you feel — a correct!) idea? Choose the code in the directory that corresponds to the address of the location (suspect, government office, house next to you) and read, you will learn a lot of interesting things.
When the game ends is up to you. If the picture of the crime has already formed in your mind — wonderful! Open the secret envelope and answer the questions. Your task is to try to solve the case by visiting as few addresses as possible. You are not the police to run back and forth, questioning all the bystanders. You can solve crimes without getting out of your chair!
