Lessons of Speech

The main virtue of this book is its poetry. First and foremost, it is a poetic book, and everything else follows: themes, plots, thoughts, inspirations (which, I hope, are not without interest). It may seem to some «prosaic» and almost... trivial, without special refinements and innovations (though both are present), but — after all — it is poetic speech. Speech for which the classic — I would like to call it «Pushkin-Blokov» — canon is as natural as breathing, while the notorious postmodernism... but I’d better express this in verse: it has left almost no deadly claws on her body, / although it did hold her a bit in its life-giving embrace. And lastly: the author wrote this piece (playing, created this text) exclusively for himself… well, maybe also for two or three unknown «friends of the heart». This is likely what this «two or three» will enjoy about the book, or as they said in ancient times, «it will be a consolation and joy to the heart».
