The Gods of the Forgotten Ancestors. Mythology of Ancient Rus

Gods played a crucial role in the lives of ancient Slavs. All events of their everyday lives were connected to the will of the gods to some extent. To appease the gods, the Slavs offered them rich gifts.
Famous domestic researchers... of traditions describe in their book various Slavic gods — Sventovit, Veles, Svarog, Yarilo and Horse, Triglav and Troyan; the authors explain the differences between the gods, what made our ancestors obey their will, who communicated the will of the gods to the Slavs, and why it was terrifying to resist it.
