One morning, the measured life of a quiet town turns upside down. An English teacher, Mila, finds a treasure of ancient coins while walking her dog. Just before this, she is nearly hit by a famous architect — it turns... out he is building an unusual house for one of the town's fathers nearby. Soon after, the body of a local entrepreneur is found there, in Kuznetskaya Sloboda. His wife is suspected of the murder. She has been friends with the former owner of the plot where the treasure was hidden since childhood... Is it a coincidence or links in one chain? Why do intruders break into Mila's house, when everyone knows the treasure has been taken by the police? She will have to figure everything out herself…
