"Warriors of Odin" is a compact card game where players must combine their Vikings to play the best combination. The goal of the game is to be the first to discard all the cards in hand and ultimately score the...
least penalty points. "Warriors of Odin" is suitable for fans of fast card-discarding tabletop games and value combinations, such as "Cow 006", "Velonimo", and "Rummikub".
The game consists of several rounds, each containing multiple turns. At the beginning of the game, you receive 9 cards. The first player then places exactly one card face up on the table. The other players take turns either placing one or more cards or skipping their turn. The values of the cards played must be higher than those played previously, and the quantity must equal or exceed their maximum by one. When placing multiple cards, they must either be of the same denomination or the same color. In the latter case, arrange them in descending order. The resulting sequence is the value of the played combination.
After playing the cards, take one of the previously played cards into your hand and discard the rest. Instead of playing cards, you can skip your turn and play cards in the next round. However, if all players skip their turn, and the cards on the table reach the player who played them, the round ends. All cards on the table are discarded, and that same player starts a new round by playing one card on the table. When any player manages to play all their cards on the table, the game ends. The remaining cards in hand will bring their owners one penalty point each. Record the result and start a new game. The player who scores 15 penalty points loses!
The board game includes: 54 cards of 6 colors with denominations from "1" to "9", rules of the game. Game duration: from 15 minutesNumber of players: from 2 to 6
