"Culinario Mortale: Shadow over the Hagenberg Estate" is a cooperative investigation with elements of role-playing, where each player has their own backstory. The game is designed for 6-8 players, including the host.Famous entrepreneur Anton Hagenberg invited children to his estate to celebrate a prestigious anniversary – 70 years. The evening promised to be truly wonderful: a large festive table, rich decor, respected guests…
However, the celebration almost turned into a tragedy! Anton was attempted to be poisoned – fortunately, unsuccessfully. The old man ended up in the emergency room and is determined to identify the murderer: clearly, it is someone from the numerous relatives...
That’s why tonight all witnesses have gathered together to figure out who tried to kill old Hagenberg!How to play?
Before the game, everyone will receive a booklet with information about their character and will study it without revealing the contents to anyone. After that, at the table, everyone will try to determine who the murderer is by communicating with each other according to the rules outlined in the booklet. Only one of the players is involved in the crime, but that doesn’t mean that the others are completely innocent! Everyone has their skeletons in the closet: the question is, what will you do to hide them... Players are not allowed to lie to each other, with one exception – the criminal does not have to tell the truth at all. The players' task is to find the murderer while he/she will be doing their best to divert suspicion away from themselves. Your main weapon is your own deductive and social skills.Who won?
In the end, the host will read the solution aloud to create a complete picture of the evening in which the crime occurred. In the finale, not only the identity of the villain will be revealed but also, possibly, the dark secrets of other guests. If the group correctly identifies the murderer, they win and the murderer loses. If the group makes a mistake, the murderer wins. Game duration: from 180 to 240 minutesNumber of players: from 6 to 8
