Malachite Box

Collected at the request of the party in the 1930s, and then literarily processed by Pavel Petrovich Bazhov (1879 - 1950), the stories and legends of Ural miners immediately won the hearts of readers and firmly entered Russian folklore. The... collection "Malachite Box" contains tales about prospectors and master stone-cutters, encountering mythological beings and spirits of the Ural region, who either assist the skilled workers or play tricks on them and test their durability. It includes "Mistress of the Copper Mountain", "Malachite Box", "Stone Flower", "Mountain Master", "Two Lizards", "Firebird-Chanterelle", "Silver Hoof", and others. The design of this limited edition of the series 'Bright Pages' is inspired by Ural malachite and the characters from Bazhov's tales.
