Lavender Rain and the Forest Ghost

Ghosts? Thirteen-year-old Lavender Rain definitely does not believe in them. Or did not believe. One day, her black cat ran off into the forest again. Lavender found not only him: a white silhouette of a girl hovered next to the... cat, dissolving into the fog in an instant. That was not all that frightened her – her grandmother's medallion, which her mother forbade her to wear, had disappeared from her neck. Together with her best friend, Lavender decided to take a dangerous step – to call forth the ghost from the forest to find the medallion. The girls just didn't know that this would start a series of events that would reveal Lavender's family history.
