Sixteen-year-old Ornella arrives for vacation in Tuscany to visit her godmother Valentina. In her last school holidays, the girl decides to shed the shackles of decency and live these two weeks for her own pleasure, extravagantly trying everything forbidden: wine,... cigarettes, men. Ornella's rebellious soul seeks another soul that would give her peace, protection, support, and true joy of life. This is what she lost with her father's departure from the family. And suddenly she finds the desired refuge — Pietro, who brings happiness back into her life. But a cruel tragedy cuts short Ornella's happiness and Pietro's life.
