Zlata Dobrovolskaya succumbed to her friend's persuasion to spend a week at an elite hunting lodge. And in this luxurious place, the gamekeeper is murdered! The owner of the lodge, Alexander Arzhanov, takes it upon himself to investigate alongside professionals,... as well as Zlata, who has read many detective novels. She sticks her nose into everything, notices a lot, and becomes an unwitting witness to strange scenes and conversations, so soon Arzhanov starts consulting her and listening to her opinion. Together they conclude that almost every current guest of the lodge had their own reason to dislike the gamekeeper. After an unknown assailant attempts to kill Zlata herself, Arzhanov doesn't let her out of his sight...
