Our fairy tales are perishing from the terrible green fog that has filled the lands of Lukomorye. Kot Bayun and other fairy tale heroes have long been searching in our world for a storyteller who can save them. This storyteller... turns out to be a girl named Katya, who has taken in a homeless cat. Now she will have to save Sivka-Burka, restore youth to the aging Brown Wolf, rescue the Humpbacked Horse from a statue on the boulevard, and search for the Firebird in the Hermitage. She will even be able to restore the ability to fly to Finist - the Clear Falcon, who has become a famous actor. Moreover, it is also necessary to find Zmey Gorynych, and for that, Katya and her friends will have to deal with real mermaids. All these heroes, seemingly so familiar to us, have their own character, get along or clash with each other, and when they find themselves visiting the storyteller, they get into numerous amusing adventures. And the most difficult task that Katya faces is to understand how she should call forth the gates to the fairy world of Lukomorye, a world on the other side of the fairy tale!
