Women's Club

A widowed young woman with her daughter arrives in Memphis, where her late husband grew up, hoping to build a new life here. But the members of the religious community receive the newcomer with hostility. She is completely different from... them - in her way of dressing, independence, and habit of asking uncomfortable questions. The green-eyed blonde disrupts the closed environment of the community, exposing its strengths and weaknesses as an isolated society, as well as the contradictions of traditional order. She makes one think about the boundaries of one's own and others', about the connection between the past and the future.
