Making real candles is a very exciting activity. The series of craft kits includes ten different options.Working with wax requires caution and patience, as well as parental help — after all, the material needs to be melted to make the... candle.Follow the instructions precisely, and you will produce an item with two types of wax, as well as a cute pastry figurine in a gel layer.The finished candle can be used as intended or given as a gift to friends or family — or made an interesting detail of a child's room interior.InstructionsBefore starting to make the candle, prepare your workspace. Cover any flat surface with a tablecloth. Pre-prepare containers for the water bath and a stick for stirring.
First, divide the entire wax into two equal parts.
Now, pour the first part of the wax into a container and place it in the water bath.
Slowly heat the water and watch the wax melt. Gently stir it with the stick, trying not to create too many bubbles.
As soon as the wax is melted, you can remove it from the heat and pour the first layer of the candle. Remember that the wax solidifies in about 4-6 hours on average. Leave the candle for this time until it completely solidifies.
After the first layer of wax has completely solidified, start decorating the composition. For this, take the figurine and the decor and carefully place them on the wax.
Melt the transparent gel-wax in the water bath. Try not to stir it, otherwise there will be many bubbles.
You can add a little glitter to the hot melted mass — the candle will turn out much more interesting.
Pour the hot gel mass over the composition in the cup and leave it until it dries completely.
After the gel has hardened, place the wick on top.
Now melt the remaining wax crumbs in the water bath and pour it as the last layer of the candle.
Your candle is ready!
Important! Add just a little glitter to the gel, not the entire packet. Also, the wax should be poured as shown in the picture in the instructions, so that 3 layers can fit into the mold, as the kit contains a little more (in case of an unsuccessful attempt to create the candle).Tip: to get a candle in your favorite color when melting in the water bath, add pieces of any wax crayon to the wax.
