When a tank was hit, the detonation of its own shells posed a great danger to the crew. However, tanks with "wet" ammunition storage had water mixed with antifreeze and corrosion inhibitor poured into the gaps between the shells in the containers. This significantly reduced the risk of detonating shells when the side was penetrated or during a fire. The production of the M4A3 (76) W modification continued from March to December 1944, during which time 1925 such tanks were built. The kit includes: castings, assembly instructions, decals.
