A small sleepy town, lost among endless forests and swamps. Nothing interesting happens here, life flows lazily and evenly, all the residents are somehow acquainted with each other, and the most discussed news in recent years is a forest fire.... It is here that Maxim Vasilyev has found refuge – a former investigator, now a carpenter, joiner, cook, cleaner, and single father raising a fifteen-year-old daughter. The tranquility of the sleepy town will be disrupted when a mysterious maniac arrives, killing women for enigmatic rituals.
