My Grandfather – The Ghost

Sima has no friends, but she has a mother. And she also has her grandfather, a former engineer who has turned into a grumpy old man over the years, obsessed only with houseplants and his garden. When her grandfather passes... away, the girl hears a mysterious knock from his room and realizes that he has become a ghost. Meanwhile, strange things are happening in the apartment: her grandfather's geraniums, ivy, and begonias start to grow wildly throughout the home, turning it into a jungle. Sima knows that ghosts appear when a person hasn’t accomplished something important in their life. Now she must figure out why her grandfather has returned and how she can help him, but most importantly, she needs to stop the plants that are about to take over the house. An uplifting story with elements of detective and mystique about living through grief and loss, about how loved ones remain with us forever.
