Capitulation on the Wedding Night

The well-known senator Col Bovington learns of his terminal illness. Throughout his life, he has cared for his beloved daughter Emmeline, of whom he is very fond. Now, Col asks Pietro Morelli, a longtime friend, to take care of Emmeline... and marry her. A confirmed bachelor and womanizer, Pietro is shocked by such a request.
