Child in Time

The three-year-old daughter of children's writer Stephen Lewis suddenly and inexplicably disappears from the supermarket. This loss turns Stephen's life upside down, clearly demonstrating to him that his daughter was the only meaning of his life. Stephen's personal drama unfolds... against the backdrop of the relentless flow of time, which has initiated a strange battle with the protagonist. Only gradually does Stephen understand that it is not a person who controls their time, but time that rules over people. The time of conception and the time of birth, the time of growth and the time of maturing — time as a mysterious, non-personified, and all-powerful force, which cannot be circumvented, but which can only be attempted to overcome by overcoming oneself.
