Little Women

How different the girls in the March family are! Obedient, but a bit vain beauty Meg, honest and straightforward dreamer Jo, shy and reserved music lover Beth, still childishly touchy and capricious Amy. Each of them lacks something in life.... Meg is burdened by the family's poverty, Jo by personal unfreedom, Beth by the absence of a piano, Amy by her nose and lessons… The girls have a difficult year ahead: the Civil War is going on in America, their father, a regimental chaplain, supports the morale of the Union soldiers far from home, and many household cares have fallen on the shoulders of the March "little women." But it is this year that will enable the sisters to understand that, in essence, they already have everything they need to be happy.
