"Ruchey Street. Retreat" is the second volume of a vast artistic canvas skillfully woven by Yulia Linde. She dedicated years to meticulous work in libraries and archives, studying documentary materials and household items of the 1930s and 1940s, interviewing participants in the events, and traveling to places connected with the characters. All this formed the basis of a large-scale historical trilogy "without bronze and gilding".
