Many years ago, the people of the Furongshchiks left their homeland under the pressure of brutal nomads. Thousands of people perished, tens of thousands lost their homeland. But the young generation, born in the Meekhan Empire, raised on the heroic... tales of their ancestors, longs to return to their land, which they have never seen. General Laskolnik and his squad participate in an unprecedentedly large-scale plan: to help the Furongshchiks reclaim their home from the nomads. However, for this enormous caravan, it is necessary to overcome high snow-capped mountains, where death has settled in the passes and trails. Here, time and again, people disappear, and no one is able to track down the mysterious criminals. But it is here that the heroes of the North and the East will meet: Kailean, a rider from Laskolnik's squad, and Kenneth, a lieutenant of the Red Sixes, the famous unit of the Mountain Guard. They will meet to understand: in a world where the wars of the gods have long since ceased, a new strange force has emerged—relentless and inhuman—and the battle against it is inevitable.
