If you're going to relax, why not do it on tropical islands? So, four families of cube hoppers thought the same and went on vacation closer to the warmth. And to make their holiday fun, they organized amusing competitions: racing...
across all the islands! Little crabs, sea lions, frogs, and octopuses embarked on a cheerful race to find out who among them would be the fastest and most agile!About the Game
"Cube Hoppers" is a simple and fun board game for children about amusing cubic creatures that have organized a sporting competition. You will roll dice and move cube hoppers from one island to another until they reach the finish line. Along the way, you can collect shells with pearls and even find a golden crown! And if you get too tired on the road, you can ride on someone else's cube hopper or on a surfboard. The more of your creatures cross the finish line, the higher the place on the island of winners they can occupy. The game has 2 modes:"Holidays" - a simplified mode recommended for the first games and for playing with small children
"Adventures" - this mode is a bit more complex because it introduces new rules. It is recommended for older children
We will tell you more about "Holidays," so let's go ahead and have some fun! How to Play?
Shuffle 16 island tiles and place them in a circle, with the large winner island in the center. Next to it, place a supply of shell tokens and crown figures. Each player chooses which cube hoppers they will play with and takes 3 figures and a finish token for their animal. Then, the finish tokens are placed between the islands at equal distances from each other, and clockwise on the islands are placed the cube hoppers: the large one on the first island from the finish, the medium one on the second, and the small one on the third. Everything is ready to play!On their turn, players roll 3 dice - they indicate how far each cube hopper will move forward across the islands. The large cube hopper is marked with blue on the die, the medium one is green, and the small one is red. When the creature lands on an island, it receives its bonus: the shell island allows you to take a shell token, the treasure island gives your cube hopper a crown token - it allows moving to one more island, and the surfing island allows you to re-roll the recently rolled die and use it for movement again. If your cube hopper lands on an island with another cube hopper, it stacks on top and forms a tower. It is important to remember: the cube hopper at the bottom of the tower during its turn always moves all the cube hoppers above it.When a cube hopper crosses its color finish line, it heads to the winner island and occupies the highest free place there.Who Won?
The game ends when all 5 prize places on the winner island are occupied. Players tally up the total number of pearls they have earned - from collected shells (which can have between 1 to 2 pearls) and for the places occupied on the winner island. The crown on your cube hopper also brings one pearl. The player with the most pearls is declared the fastest and most agile cube hopper! Game Duration: 20 minutes and upNumber of Players: 2 to 4
