Magnolia U is stuck in her parents' laundry all summer long. In the city heat of New York, without friends, without adventures. Just the heat and lost socks that she carefully collects on the bulletin board. Each sock is a... mystery for Magnolia, and she waits for the owners to come back for them, but that has never happened before.
Everything changes when Iris, a new friend from California, enters Magnolia's life, and they take matters into their own hands to solve the mystery of each lonely and forsaken sock. They will visit flower shops, pizzerias, the subway, and hair salons, meet all sorts of people, and discover the unimaginable.
