The purpose of this book is to help apply what Srila Prabhupada calls the "cautious" method of understanding Radha and Krishna. Devotees who have not studied the "Bhagavad-gita", who have not grasped the first nine cantos of the "Srimad-Bhagavatam", and... who maintain a deeply rooted attachment to sensual pleasures should not read this book without additional guidance. I mean the guidance of their spiritual teacher or experienced senior devotees. The book does not contain intimate details of the love pastimes of Radha and Krishna. I have excluded all such descriptions found in the scriptures and in the works of acharyas, remaining true to the editorial policy regarding the series of books "Krishna in Vrindavan".And yet "Na Paraye Ham" is entirely devoted to discussing Krishna and the gopis. Those who are overwhelmed by sexual desire are not advised to constantly hear about Krishna's relationships with the gopis. We certainly must move in this direction, but, as Srila Prabhupada instructed, we must do so cautiously.
