Vamshidas Babaji

Shrila Vamshidas Babaji Maharaj is a great saint vaishnava. He lived in Navadvipa in the first half of the twentieth century. Vamshidas Babaji was tall—about 180 centimeters—and had a strong build. He did not trim his beard or hair—they were... always tangled and disheveled. He never took baths, and his gaze seemed crazed. He wore nothing but a loincloth. The behavior of Vamshidas Babaji was so unusual that if he lived in a country less spiritually enlightened, he would surely be considered mad. Although Vamshidas Babaji was in this world, little connected him to it. This book recounts the story of a person so unusual and exalted that we can only bow before him and pray for his mercy.
