The "Ticket to Ride: Netherlands" expansion will send you on an adventure through the land of vibrant tulip fields. Lay your routes through Amsterdam, also known as the Venice of the North, dynamic Utrecht and Rotterdam, as well as the exquisite Hague. But the adventure does not stop with the Netherlands: you have the opportunity to visit charming cities in neighboring countries - Germany and Belgium.
Expanding the railway network in a country rich in canals and rivers is unimaginable without building bridges designed by leading European engineers! You will have to spend your own resources if you decide to make a crossing over the bridge, but believe me, it will be a profitable investment: any player who wishes to use your bridge will pay you for that opportunity. Do not waste time and set out on a journey through beautiful Netherlands!

A true railway magnate must always strive not only to create and strengthen their empire but also to take care of their competitors. It is necessary to lay the longest and most efficient routes while cutting opponents off from important transport nodes. The key is to maintain a balance between greed and moderation: long exhausting journeys certainly bring profits, but many are willing to pay dearly for a quick arrival at their desired destination…

At the beginning, each player receives a route card that marks two cities located at opposite ends of the map. This card must be kept secret! The goal is to build a railway between the specified points. To execute this grand plan, players are dealt "train" cards of different colors and joker cards depicting a locomotive each turn, and they are also allowed to draw additional route cards and lay down train cards on the game board to score victory points. A route can be of any possible length, as long as there are enough cards of one color and your opponents do not interfere.
When one player's trains run out, the game is declared finished. All players reveal their hidden routes and count the points earned. If the task indicated on the route card is completed, points are added, and if failed, points are deducted. And, importantly, the player who has laid the longest route receives an additional ten points!

The winner is the player who first manages to complete all six routes. If the game ends sooner (when a player runs out of all their trains), the winner is the player with the most completed routes, counting the bonus "From East to West".
