This book is an overview of the life and deeds of the contemporary Indian spiritual Teacher Sathya Sai Baba, who came to our earth with a Divine Mission - to unite humanity into one family based on the principles of... truth, righteousness, love, peace, and non-violence. Originally written in Kannada by a person who knew Sathya Sai Baba closely for many decades, the book serves as a wonderful introduction to the world of divine mysteries, miracles, and spiritual revelations, which the human soul, oppressed by the struggle for survival and torn between "good" and "evil" in search of happiness and freedom, so longs for. Written in a simple, clear language, the book touches upon these eternal themes and, most importantly, answers the eternal question of the meaning of life. A special part of this book includes a commentary prepared specifically for the Russian edition, which explains in detail the numerous terms inherent in Indian culture that are either not well understood or unknown to the Russian-speaking reader.
