Depending on what I have to do, I play the right music or read the right poem. This is the tuning fork that sets the necessary tonality for the new day.If I were a composer, I would make a calendar of 366 morning melodies; if I were a poet, I would compose 366 morning poems. Because each day is unique.But since I am a historical novelist, "My Calendar" consists of 372 little stories. More precisely, three hundred seventy-two reminders that something very good or very important once happened on this very day. (372, not 366, because I don’t want to offend any month, and in each of them I account for 31 days, honestly. 30 February or, say, 31 June, I tell about events and people who never actually existed, but for me, they do.
