Experimental Film

Teacher Louise Kearns is raising her autistic son and working as a film critic, trying to make ends meet. One day at a private screening, she finds a strange film with a fragment of a silent movie and connects it... with the personality of Mrs. Iris Dunlop Whitcomb, a socialite and folklore collector who mysteriously vanished from a closed train compartment in 1918. Hoping to bolster her academic career, Louise decides to prove that Whitcomb was the first woman in Canada to become a film director. But the deeper she dives into her research, the more she realizes that the history of experimental film is closely intertwined with a strange legend about Miss Noon, a demon or ghost who always gets her due. And soon Louise realizes that some tales are horrifically real, and evil cannot be escaped even in bright sunlight, and now she must fear not only for herself but also for those who are close to her.
