Literary Reading. Book 2. Textbook for Bilingual Students of Russian Schools Abroad

The textbook is designed to develop communicative and linguistic-cultural competencies in bilingual children and provide students of bilingual schools with material for conscious reading and the development of Russian speech.
The content of the textbook includes works of art of different... genres, classic examples of children's literature, introduces Russian culture, and implies a parallel with the culture of the country where the students reside. The assignments are aimed at understanding and perceiving the works, developing speech, as well as literary analysis of the artistic text.
All works are adapted for bilinguals, have stress marks, and are provided with footnotes and linguistic and cultural comments where necessary.
