Literary Reading. Russian School (Book 1)

The textbook is designed to develop the communicative and linguistic-cultural competencies of bilingual children and to provide students of bilingual schools with material for conscious reading and the development of Russian speech. 
The content of the textbook includes artistic works of... various genres, classic examples of children's literature, introduces the Russian culture, and implies a parallel with the culture of the students' country of residence. 
The tasks are aimed at understanding and perceiving the works, developing speech, as well as at basic literary analysis of artistic texts.
All works are adapted for bilinguals, have stress marks, and are supplemented with footnotes and linguistic-cultural comments when necessary.
Recommended for children from 7 years old.
