First Coloring Books. Vegetables

Unfortunately, many modern coloring books are created without considering the age interests and abilities of children. But there are so many of them, and they are so different that one can easily get lost. Often, coloring books for the smallest... ones are overloaded with details, complicated to the point of being unrecognizable, and not very appealing. They do not sustain interest in drawing and do not encourage independent creativity. How to determine how good a coloring book is and whether it is suitable for your child? Here is a simple "test" that will help you make the right conclusion.
Is the coloring book correct?
- all images in the coloring book are large, without small details
- the images in the coloring book are concrete and easily recognizable; they are cute, kind, and interesting
- a wide colored outline (1 cm) will hide natural imperfections of the inexperienced hand of the child
- the outlines of the pictures are smooth, without corners and complex bends, so it will be easy for the child to repeat their silhouette within the outlined image
- many drawings the little one can complement at their discretion
- all images are accompanied by text that will help you introduce the child into a playful situation, evoke their interest and vivid emotional reaction, and desire to draw.
