The Study Psalter

The Church Slavonic text of the Psalter is equipped with a parallel translation into Russian. The translation was made in 1915 by Professor Pavel Alexandrovich Yungerov (1856-1921) of the Kazan Spiritual Academy from the Greek text of the Septuagint, from which the Church Slavonic translation was also made. In addition, the book talks about the Psalter, includes the biography of the holy king David, knowing which makes it easier to understand the psalms written by him. Furthermore, it includes brief interpretations of the psalms by the words of the holy fathers and the basics of Church Slavonic grammar.
