Pianists

Pianists Andrei and Oleg have known each other since childhood, from their time studying at the music school at the conservatory. But each one's fate unfolds differently. One comes from a provincial family of musician-teachers, while the other is the... son of prestigious parents, who have lived their entire life in Moscow. Both are talented and charismatic. Each builds his own relationship with the woman he loves. Andrei's introversion and his immersion in music lead to conflict at work and dramatic circumstances at home. Oleg's excessive sociability results in a confrontation with harsh reality for him as well. In the end, the pianists find themselves in a complicated criminal situation on one of the islands in Southeast Asia.
In the book, the world of classical music and its performers appears as a bright, multifaceted kaleidoscope, where prestigious European concert halls are replaced by a rural club in the Moscow region, and famous festivals by a master class in the hinterland. Youth from a Brazilian orchestra, led by their fiery conductor, along with a solid lawyer and producer from Germany, come to the aid of the Russian pianists. But will the friends be able to emerge from this story with dignity and preserve each one's love?
