Orthodox prayer book in Church Slavonic language (Church Slavonic script) of traditional composition.
This is a new version of a small format prayer book that has long been loved by believers. The size of the new edition has become larger compared...
to the previous one. The prayer book fits comfortably in your hands and can be used as a travel book, as it can easily fit into your bag.
The prayer book contains the most necessary prayers and sequences for completing the daily prayer rule.
In the new edition, the Memorial Book is placed in a separate section, in accordance with its traditional location in the synodal prayer books and canons. The publication of the Memorial as part of morning prayers, which has become regular in the prayer books of the civil press over the past decades, does not justify itself: such an extensive insertion destroys the harmony of the sequence. In addition, in the morning the person praying does not always have time to make a commemoration according to a lengthy memorial, and during the morning rule short prayers for the living and the dead are usually read.
The composition of the prayer book has been replenished with a new section - “General sequence of reading the canons”, in which, along with the initial and final prayers, accompanying the private reading of the canons separately from other statutory sequences.
In the section “Troparia and Kontakia of the Feasts...” there are also tributes - choruses and irmos of the 9th song of the canon, with which it is customary to replace the reading “It is worthy to eat” on the days of great holidays and on the days of their post-festival.
