The book includes selected stories from one of the recognized masters of the Italian detective Sergio Cova, including several cases from the practice of the writer’s favorite hero, Lieutenant Colonel Ares Belmonte. Simple modern language, dynamic style of presentation, abundance... of dialogues allow us to recommend this collection at the earliest stages of mastering the Italian language.
The stories are adapted according to the method of Ilya Frank: provided with a literal translation into Russian and the necessary lexical and grammatical commentary (without simplifying the original text). The uniqueness of the method lies in the fact that memorization of words and expressions occurs due to their repetition, without memorization and the need to use a dictionary. In addition, the reader gets used to the logic of the Italian language and begins to “feel” it.
The manual promotes effective language acquisition and can serve as an addition to the curriculum.
