Seryozha. A few stories from the life of a very little boy

Created in 1955, the story is permeated with light - it is a touching poem of childhood, the perception of the world through the eyes of a six-year-old boy. Like many children of the post-war period, Seryozha grows up without... a father; his father died in the war. However, the war is a thing of the past, life goes on, and their stepfather, a former front-line soldier, an honest, smart and kind man, joins his family with his mother.
The famous story by Vera Panova is about how their relationship will develop, what experiences little Seryozha will have, about what it is like to be a child in the big world.

The book with illustrations by the remarkable Soviet artist Vladimir Galdyaev was printed based on the 1978 edition.
