The game Count and check with cat-shaped scales will teach your child ordinal counting, comparing quantities, simple arithmetic operations in a fun way, and will also help develop logical-mathematical thinking, concentration, and hand-eye coordination. Number of players: 1-4. The set... includes: double-sided task card - 30 pcs., cat - 19 pcs., volumetric figure - 10 pcs., scale bowl - 2 pcs., scale base - 1 pc., scale body.
PREPARATION: Place all game elements in the center of the table. Assemble the scales.
GAME RULES: Select the difficulty of the task. The youngest participant starts the game. Complete the task on the card and check the solution on the scales. If the task is completed correctly, the scales are balanced. The player takes the card. If it was not possible to solve the task the first time, the player has one more try. If the scales are not balanced on the second try, the turn goes to another player. The first player to collect 5 cards is the winner.
Level 1: Green cards. Find the number shown on the card and place it on the scale. Count the number of cats shown and place an equal number of cats on the other side of the scale. Level 2: Purple cards. Count the number of cats on the card and
put an equal number of cats on the scale. Put down the number corresponding to the quantity
of the cats shown on the other side of the scale. Level 3: Blue cards. Players will have to solve an example from the card (these could be examples with cats, or numbers, or both). Put the values ​​on the scale. For example: card 2+3, put numbers 2 and 3 on one side of the scale.
After completing the calculation, put 5 cats on the other side of the scale.
