The basis of the game is still the same:... “the city falls asleep and the mafia wakes up.” Therefore, those who have already played the classic version will be quite comfortable.
However, this does not mean that we simply re-released "Mafia". This is not the case - and even fans of the game are in for a few pleasant surprises.

What's special about this version of "Mafia"?
Let's start with cool illustrations and compact maps. Cards, drawings and signatures are made in such a way that your neighbor will not be able to understand what role you have, even if he tries to cheat and peek at the card from the side. No cheating!
There are 19 roles in the game, including 3 new ones. Let's talk about them in a little more detail. The bodyguard chooses a player to protect, and if intruders come to this person at night, the bodyguard will drive them away. The sheriff can either find out the role of the selected player or kill anyone at the table - his choice. And a journalist can spy on someone. In the morning, the presenter will tell you who came to visit the paparazzi victim.
And “Mafia” has everything for a comfortable game, including the presenter’s notebook, cards with the names of some roles and reminders. With a notepad, everything is clear: it’s easier to figure out who voted what and who dropped out in which round. Reminders are double-sided cards that tell you what to do and in what order, day and night. Convenient - even a beginner won’t get confused!
Role cards also make the game much easier. You know, it happens like this: the commissioner wants to find out what the role of that player is. And the presenter tries to answer the question with gestures. He cannot say it out loud - then everyone will know, firstly, that there is a doctor / sergeant / bodyguard, etc. in the game, and secondly, that the commissioner knows who is playing this role. As a result, the night turns into a mini-game of "guess what I showed", in which both participants can only communicate with gestures. In this "Mafia" everything is not like that: the presenter simply raises a card with the name of the role. And no problems!
