This collection includes both the novel "Running on the Waves," and the fairy tale "Scarlet Sails," and a series of stories written in different years, illustrated by the "most Green-like artist" Savva Brodsky. These drawings were created in the early 1960s for the publication of the six-volume collection of the writer's works.
