Emergency Aid. Learning Dictionary Words, Grade 3

"Emergency Aid" is a resource aimed at memorizing dictionary words. Each page-card contains a frame. In it, new dictionary words are presented: from one to four. It is necessary to insert the missing letters in the words presented in the... frame. Next, in the meaningful piece of text (on the underlined line), it is required to insert one of the words and letters in the dictionary words studied earlier. In doing so, students practice not only memorizing the dictionary word but also in reading handwritten letters, the graphic representation of which differs from printed ones.
At the bottom, in pale color, related words are presented, chosen for the words from the frame and from the text. It is necessary to encircle the words and insert the letter. Our task was not only to expand the vocabulary but also to teach to see the uncheckable letter specifically in related words.
The last card covers a group of related words; it also serves as a control function.
