Capital

"Capital" is the main work of the German philosopher, economist, and political figure Karl Marx, which has had a huge influence on the course of world history. The first volume of "Capital" was published in 1867, and the next two... volumes were prepared for publication by Friedrich Engels after Marx's death. This edition is a processing of this classic work, carried out by the German historian and economist J. Borchardt. The book is composed of fragments from the three volumes of "Capital"; J. Borchardt's task, according to him, was to "let Marx speak for himself" and to give any reader the opportunity to understand the essence of his views. The book will be interesting not only to specialists (historians, economists, philosophers) but also to anyone who would like to become acquainted with one of the most significant socio-economic theories, which still provokes heated debates.
