This book about the sociologist Daniil Dondurey (1947-2017) includes excerpts of his texts, recent publications, as well as selected conversations he initiated and moderated in the journal "Art of Cinema" over the years. The diverse interests and activities of DD... also determined the circle of authors reflecting on his ideas, works, and the strategy of the magazine, which he led as editor-in-chief for almost a quarter of a century. The memoir genre in this book is combined with analytical articles by his colleagues (at different stages of DD's career), his discerning readers, listeners, and authors of "Art of Cinema."
