Art Nouveau, or Modern Style, is all about the beautiful, original, mysterious, and at times, openly sensual style that dominated the visual arts at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. This artistic phenomenon is associated with numerous renowned...
architects, painters, graphic artists, and applied arts masters, but arguably the most prominent and significant names are Antonio Gaudi, Gustav Klimt, and Alphonse Mucha, as evidenced by the consistent attention their personas receive from the broadest audiences. This book is dedicated to these three authors, but it doesn’t limit itself to their creative legacy within the mentioned style; rather, it allows readers to trace the gradual emergence of each master, from their earliest works to mature pieces that demonstrate their interest in exploring new frontiers in a rapidly changing world of art at that time.
